A rare set of two original 19th-century astrophotographic prints produced at the Paris Observatory in 1887 by the distinguished astronomers Paul and Prosper Henry (Frères Henry).
These early long-exposure photographs belong to the pioneering years of astrophotography and document stellar fields in the constellations Cygnus (8 August 1887) and Gemini (Gémeaux) (14 March 1887).
