Original small archival lot consisting of official Greek government documents and a contemporary newspaper clipping, all related to Ioannis (John / “Tzon”) Tsatsos, ELPA (Hellenic Touring Club), and the Greek state tourism administration shortly before World War II.

This is an original administrative file / small dossier kept together since the period, not a random grouping.

The group includes:

  1. Official letter dated November 2, 1937 from the Ministry of Press & Tourism, addressed to Ioannis (John) Tsatsos, concerning his participation in the Advisory Council of Tourism.
    ➤ This document bears the original handwritten signature of the Deputy Minister of Press & Tourism, Theologos Nikoloudis.

  2. Official ministerial document dated January 31, 1940, issued by the same ministry, regarding the composition and functioning of the Advisory Council of Tourism.
    ➤ The document also refers to ELPA (Hellenic Touring Club), an important institution in the history of Greek tourism.

  3. Contemporary newspaper clipping referring to a typographical error in an earlier announcement, serving as a period press correction connected with the same matter and completing the small archival file.
