Original posted invitation / correspondence card issued by the Hellenic Union of Nautical Sports Clubs Enthusiasts (Ελληνική Ένωσις Φιλάθλων Ναυτικών Σωματείων – Ε.Ε.Φ.Ν.Σ.), Athens, dated 27 March 1930.

Addressed to Nikolaos Manousos in Piraeus (Karaiskou Street 162), this attractive interwar Greek maritime ephemera item concerns a meeting of the Board of Directors scheduled for Wednesday 2 April, 7 p.m., at the office of Mr. N. Papakosta.

The card bears:

  • Original Greek 50 lepta postage stamp
  • Postal cancellation marks dated March 1930
  • Printed letterhead of the nautical association
  • Official signature of the General Secretary
  • Original mailed format with postal handling marks

Nicely preserved overall with normal age wear, folds and postal handling traces consistent with period use.

Dimensions: approx. 15 × 9 cm.
