Historic Ottoman Salonica Document 1912 – Revenue Stamp & Merchant Seal
€85.00Original Ottoman commercial / banking document issued in Salonica (Thessaloniki) on 28 October 1912, only two days after the city was captured by the Greek Army (26 Oct 1912).
The document still uses the Ottoman fiscal revenue stamp, with a clear red oval seal of “ABRAM H. AMAR – SALONIQUE”, a well-known Jewish Sephardic merchant / financial house of the city.
