Offered is a rare lot of two original statutes booklets (Καταστατικά) issued in Athens in 1924 by the Armenian Red Cross and the Armenian Blue Cross, documenting the earliest organized welfare efforts of the Armenian refugee community in Greece.
Printed in the immediate aftermath of the Armenian Genocide and the Asia Minor Catastrophe, these publications represent primary-source institutional documents from the formative period of Armenian diaspora organization in interwar Greece.
