Original 1882 Greek commercial receipt from the well-known Athens shop “Neoterismoi”, located on Ermou Street, the main commercial avenue of the city.
Issued by V. Heracleous & N. Gavallas, sellers of textiles, wool, silks, ready-made garments, capes, collars and various fashion items.
The document is fully handwritten and dated 27 February 1882, issued to a female customer.
It features a beautiful printed header typical of late 19th-century Athenian commerce.
At the center appears a 10 Lepta Greek revenue stamp of the 1875–1882 period, cancelled with the oval company handstamp “B. HERACLEOUS & N. GAVALAS – ATHENS”.
Age toning, fold line, minor edge wear, light stains. Revenue stamp intact. Text fully readable and overall very good condition.
