Rare complete archival file of a Greek merchant vessel in Benghazi, 1952.

This lot consists of 6 original typewritten documents related to the Greek ship:

M/V “RALLIS P.” (Greek-owned merchant vessel)

 Benghazi (Cyrenaica, Libya) – Piraeus
1952

The documents originate from the shipping & forwarding agent:
Mohamed Senussi Giaber – Benghazi

They document a serious legal and financial dispute involving:

  • Unpaid port dues

  • Unpaid agency & supply expenses

  • Court action and request for arrest of the vessel

The file includes:
✔ Official letters to the ship’s master and owner
✔ Letter to the President of the Civil Court of Benghazi
✔ Invoices and accounts
✔ Government of Cyrenaica Ports & Lights Harbour Dues document
✔ Duplicates and copies of accounts

The ship arrived in Benghazi in April 1952 carrying live sheep for Piraeus.
The documents record the escalation of the case up to November 1952.

This is a complete maritime legal case file.
