Rare mid-19th-century Greek edition of the Old Testament according to the Septuagint, printed in Athens in 1843 by Typographeion “Mnemosyni” of Ch. Nikolaidou Philadelpheos.
Authorized by the Holy Synod of Russia and reissued under the supervision of the Holy Synod of the Kingdom of Greece, this important edition was funded by the British Society for the Promotion of Christian Education to be distributed among Greek clergy and schools.
