€28.00Original Greek military conscription document, issued in 1948 by the Ελληνικός Στρατός, through the Traveling Military Council of the Kingdom of Greece (Περιοδεύον Στρατιωτικόν Συμβούλιον – Βασιλείου της Ελλάδος).
The Traveling Military Councils were official mobile military authorities, responsible for examining and classifying conscripts, especially in remote areas, and played a key role during the Greek Civil War period (1946–1949).
It bears original official military stamps and handwritten signatures of the President of the Traveling Military Council and the responsible conscription officer.
