Beautiful full-color chromolithograph plates accompany simplified retellings of well-known parables such as The Labourers in the Vineyard and The Sower.
This edition is marked “UNTEARABLE,” referring to the special reinforced paper used in Nister’s children’s books of the period. Numbered 2506a on the front cover. Printed in Bavaria, as were almost all Nister productions of this era.
