€12.00Original bilingual business card of Radio Sam, the exclusive agent of Crosley Radio in Egypt. The card advertises Sam Barzilai’s store in Alexandria, located at 15 Rue Toussoun Pacha, corner Rue Eglise Copte.
One side is printed in English, the other in Arabic, highlighting the store’s role as the official Crosley distributor in Egypt. Crosley was one of America’s most important radio manufacturers in the interwar and WWII period, and this card reflects the spread of American consumer electronics into the Middle Eastern market.
