Original four-page handwritten letter, written in Greek and dated September 12, 1921, on the illustrated lithographed letterhead of the historic Grand Hôtel – Les Thermes de Sylla.
The letter was known in the early 20th century as one of Greece’s most prestigious spa hotels and continues to operate today under the name Thermae Sylla Spa Wellness Hotel.
The illustrated hotel letterhead is lithographically printed and bears the imprint:
“Lith. G. Stangel & Co., Athènes”
Printed by G. Stangel & Co., one of the most prominent Greek lithographic printers of the early 20th century.

This is a genuine period letter written in Greek using Latin characters (Greeklish) on original MGM Turkey branch stationery.
The letter is personal in nature and discusses everyday matters such as travel, hotel, money, expenses and sending telegrams. Although not an official MGM business letter, it is written on authentic MGM corporate paper, making it a very attractive historical and cinematic ephemera piece.
