These landscape views were sold to travellers and are now historically valuable visual documentation of Bohemia in the Austro-Hungarian period.

These early long-exposure photographs belong to the pioneering years of astrophotography and document stellar fields in the constellations Cygnus (8 August 1887) and Gemini (Gémeaux) (14 March 1887).
