Original Athens public transport monthly pass issued in April 1927 by the Electric Transport Company of Athens (Ηλεκτρική Εταιρία Μεταφορών – H.E.M.).
A rare surviving personalized commuter transit pass from interwar Athens, covering the route between Kallithea and Akademia, complete with original portrait photograph, official stamps and period transport regulations.
The interior reads:
“Εισιτήριον Μεταξύ Σταθ. Καλλιθέας – Ακαδημίας”
and includes the official company markings and monthly validation coupon for:
“ΑΠΡΙΛΙΟΣ 1927”.
Bears the stamp:
“Ηλεκτρική Εταιρία Μεταφορών Α.Ε.”
The H.E.M. (Electric Transport Company) was established in the 1920s and operated important tram and electric railway services in Athens during the interwar period.
An exceptional piece of Athens urban history and transportation ephemera, especially desirable due to:

- named passenger identification,
- complete folding format,
- and official transport company stamps.
Condition:
Good vintage condition with natural wear, aging and handling marks consistent with age. Original photograph and stamps remain clearly visible. Complete folding structure preserved.
