Hellenic Merchant Navy

for a maritime worker born in 1881.

The document is titled:

“Ελληνικόν Εμπορικόν Ναυτικόν”
“Αντίγραφον Φυλλαδίου Απογραφής”

and was officially issued in Athens on:

13 October 1915

under the authority of the historic:

Ναυτικό Απομαχικό Ταμείο (ΝΑΤ)

bearing official period stamps and signatures. The Ναυτικό Απομαχικό Ταμείο (NAT), founded in the 19th century, is among the oldest maritime insurance institutions in Greece and Europe.

The booklet includes:

original portrait photograph of the sailor,
registry and maritime labor details,
nautical worker classification pages,
official maritime administration text,
and seafaring employment record sections.

Dimensions:
12 × 17 cm

Condition:
Fair vintage condition with visible age wear, spine wear, edge wear, staining and handling marks consistent with prolonged maritime use. Internally largely complete and displayable.
