Original Greek wartime bread ration booklet issued in Piraeus during the period of mobilization and food control connected to the Greco-Italian War and the early WWII years in Greece.

The booklet was issued by:

“Ηλεκτρ. Αρτοποιείον Προκοπίου Μεγγούλη”
Valaoritou 27, Piraeus
Telephone: 41-611

and bears two official circular stamps reading:

“Πολιτική Επιστράτευσις Πειραιώς”
(Civil Mobilization of Piraeus)

together with the historically important wording:

“Εισφορά υπέρ οικογενειών μαχομένων”
(Contribution for the families of fighting soldiers)

Size: pocket booklet format
Condition: Fair to Good vintage condition with folds, staining, paper wear and age toning consistent with wartime use. Official stamps and printed text remain visible.
