Original complete issue of the historic Romanian newspaper Telegraful Român, published in Sibiu (Transylvania, Romania) on 18 February 1931.
Founded in 1853, Telegraful Român is one of the oldest continuously published Romanian newspapers and an important publication of the Romanian Orthodox and cultural world of Transylvania.
This issue contains a large front-page memorial article dedicated to:
Dumitru Comșa (1846–1931)
Romanian theologian, educator, professor and cultural figure associated with the intellectual and agricultural development of Transylvania.
Particularly interesting is the postal usage:
- addressed by hand to Athens, Greece,
- marked “Poste restante – Athènes”,
- with original Romanian postage stamps and postal cancellations still present.

Good vintage condition with age toning, mailing folds, handling wear and minor edge wear consistent with age. Original stamps and postal markings preserved.
